Blackheath Village switches on the Christmas Lights

Are you ready to help with the Count Down?

We will be outside The Crown pub and the Christmas tree at the top of Tranquil Vale, Blackheath from 3.45 pm.

The Blackheath Morris Dancers, the singer Peter Savizon and Lady Christmas will join the Chairman of the Blackheath Society, Father Nicholas Cranfield from All Saints' Church and a representative from Judge & Priestley, a major donor to our Christmas Lights, will turn on the lights.

The Society has been working hard with the Village Traders and Lewisham Council to improve the Christmas light celebrations in the Village this year. Jimmy Botton from the regular Family Fun Fair that comes to Royal Parade is kindly donating two Christmas trees.

The Grand Switch On will be at 4.30pm on Saturday, 3rd December.

If you would like to donate towards the expense of the Christmas Lights please contact the Society.
