This is an historic and remarkable building in Charterhouse Square London. It is a seven acre site containing the remains of the medieval monastery, an opulent Tudor manor house and present day almshouses.

Travelling tip: Farringdon station on the Thameslink from London Bridge makes it an easy journey. Charterhouse is a short walk from there, along Cowcross Street and then, left into Charterhouse Street to Charterhouse Square.
