Bennett Park in Blackheath was developed in the nineteenth century by a colourful family of noted clockmakers. The street has since been the home of several noteworthy and interesting characters including a pioneer of astrophysics, a saucy postcard artist, a pantomime dame, film makers and musicians. Paul Wright will discuss the history of the street and some of its memorable residents.
