Zoom to be given by Society Member Jonathan Causer on PG Wodehouse started his literary career writing for the Gaiety Theatre.  He knew all about the mésalliances which sprang up between the Gaiety Girls and their admirers the Stage Door Johnnies, to the dismay of the latters' families.  Bertie's first task, imposed of course by Aunt Agatha, was to "rescue" Cousin Augustus:  naturally he failed, and carried on doing so for another fifty years.
