ROCK AROUND BLACKHEATH. Blackheath and the surrounding area were home to many famous names from popular music in the second half of the twentieth century. Many of these including Manfred Mann, David Bowie, John Mayall, McGuinness Flint, Kate Bush, Albert Lee, Jools Holland and Squeeze and their local connections will be discussed in a presentation richly illustrated with images and sounds. The evening will be led by local Blue Badge guide Mo Corcoran and Society member Paul Wright. Tickets via Eventbrite £15 include drinks.
